Applications for the 2025 AEIS:

Primary levels: From 9am on Wednesday, 9 July 2025 to 4.30pm on Tuesday, 22 July 2025.

Secondary levels: From 9am on Thursday, 10 July 2025 to 4.30pm on Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
AEIS tests are conducted in Singapore from Monday, 1 September 2025 to Friday, 5 September 2025.
1. Overview
The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is for international students seeking admissions to Primary 2 to 5 and Secondary 1 to 3 in the
following academic year.
The AEIS typically starts in July. Successful applicants start school in January the following year.
During this admissions exercise, international students:
- Apply to take the relevant AEIS tests.
- Take the AEIS tests.
- Receive their admissions outcome.
Admission is not guaranteed and is subject to your child's performance in the tests. If successful, placement will be based on the available vacancies in our schools and your declared residential area, where possible.

From July 2024
Apply for and take CEQ test
Before the AEIS, primary school applicants must take the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by .
- When
12 months before the submission month of the AEIS application. For the 2025 AEIS, your child must take the CEQ test from July 2024.

The paper-based or computer-based CEQ test suitable for your child's age.
- Where
At a in any country.
When booking the test, check if the result will be released in time for your AEIS application.
By July 2025
Receive CEQ test result
- Your child must meet the required Cambridge English Scale (CES) score in their CEQ test before submitting an AEIS application.
- Their CEQ result must be uploaded during the AEIS application.
- We will only consider the set of CEQ test results that was submitted in your child's online application for the AEIS-Primary Mathematics tests.

July 2025
Apply to take AEIS-Primary Mathematics test
If your child has met the required CES score in the CEQ test, they can apply to take the relevant AEIS Mathematics test.
Submit an online application in the Candidates Portal (CP).

August 2025
Receive entry proof
If your application is approved and payment is successful, you will receive an email informing you to download your child鈥檚 entry proof from the CP.
Mon, 1 September 2025 to Fri, 5 September 2025
Take AEIS-Primary Mathematics test
Your child will take the test in Singapore from Monday, 1 September 2025 to Friday, 5 September 2025.

Release of outcome
Based on your child's performance in the test, they may be offered a place in a school. You can
check the outcome online.
Report to school
Successful applicants must report to the offered school within the
reporting period.聽If not, their place may be offered to other applicants.
